- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in development or IT analyst role
- Solid knowledge of at least one dev technology/ programming language (C#, PowerShell, GoLang, JavaScript/React, Swift, RPA, Python, HTML/CSS).
- Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, MacOS, mobile technologies (Android/iOS/iPadOS)
- Solid knowledge of Cloud Solutions (Box, OneDrive, Drop Box, SharePoint)
- Understanding of the backend infrastructure of supported technologies (Virtual Machines, Kubernetes clusters, MS Azure, Amazon AWS, databases).
- Experience in DevOps and agile development
- Very good knowledge in agile development environments
- Excellent problem-solving, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and develop solutions based on the business requirements.
- Very strong critical & conceptual thinking and analytical reasoning
- Passionate about technology and excited about emerging/disruptive technologies (Cloud, AI/ ML)
- Strong presentation, writing and communication skills and ability to work with senior leaders within McKinsey
- Other scripting languages are a plus
- Microsoft Windows, O365, JAMF, or Azure certification is a plus
- ITIL/ VeriSM Certification is a plus

Who You'll Work With
You’ll join our Advanced Technical Services (ATS) team in our Lisbon office.
Our Advanced technical services team is an essential group within McKinsey’s Technology and Digital Services (TDS) domain, and operates globally from 3 different locations Prague, San Jose, and Manila.
You will collaborate with other internal IT support and development teams and provide unique expertise in product design, user journeys, process improvement.
What You'll Do
You will bring value by identifying ways to automate processes, tasks, and products; as well creating self-serve solutions for our McKinsey colleagues.
You will collect and interpret the right (tailored) data from end user facing devices, mitigate disruptions effectively, improving the colleagues' technical journey experience and enabling them to create long lasting client impact. You will also contribute to case deflection initiatives and automation; through pro-active solutions and problem management frameworks.
You will identify opportunities to create efficiencies for TD Services and Products. Develop, support, and maintain custom or off the shelf solutions to complete end to end setup of the product. You will also create solutions for Firm software and hardware, ensuring proper system functionality across platforms & devices.
You will address vulnerabilities within Firm technologies and devices, handling the end-to-end resolution (research, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve) and manage stakeholder communications timely and accurately.
